Opening an 300GB tiff stack

anarasim
Hi All,

I have a 300GB tiff stack. My RAM is 256GB. Is it possible for me to open
the a part of the stack.
Unfortunately, I do not have the option of saving the stack as a series.

Thanks in Advance,
Arun

If you are using Fiji, you can also use the File > Import > Image...
command to import the image as a smart virtual stack that allows in-place
operations on its values. Changes to planes are persisted by a transparent
disk cache.
