Metadata annotation

Adrián Villalba
Dear all,

I was wondering if i can add metadata information for some images (such as,
blue channel = DAPI, green channel = a specific gene, etc) and i can then
show the data like pressing "i" in a normal image.

Thank you in advance,

Re: Metadata annotation

Herbie
Good day Adrián,

did you consider the macro function:

*setMetadata*("Info", string)
"Assigns the metadata in string to the "Info" image property of the
current image. This metadata is displayed by Image>Show Info and saved
as part of the TIFF header. See also: getMetadata."

However, more visible is:

*setMetadata*("Label", string)
"Sets string as the label of the current image or stack slice. The first
60 characters, or up to the first newline, of the label are displayed as
part of the image subtitle. The labels are saved as part of the TIFF
header. See also: getMetadata."

Regards

Herbie
